
My husband loves chicken hearts. I didn’t know there were chicken hearts until my husband. I have gradually learned to cook them, and he just loves how I make them. So when I make chicken hearts, I take my time to cook them simple and delicious.
Ingredients:
500g Chicken hearts
1 medium onion finely chopped
250g Chinese Cabbage, finely sliced
200g carrots washed and diced
1 1/2 tablespoon barbecue spice
1 tablespoon curry powder
1/2 Tablespoons dried parsley
1 teaspoon brown sugar
125ml water
2 chicken stock cubes
2 tablespoons cooking oil
410g diced tomatoes in their juice
Method:
1. Sauté onions on medium low heat for 5 minutes.
2. Add the spices and cook for a further 5 minutes.
3. Add the chicken hearts, cabbage, carrots and parsley. Cook for 7 minutes.
4. Add the tomatoes and sugar. Cook for 10 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
Serve with your desired starch.
