Naan Bread and Hand slaughtered, Curried Egg Layer Hen

My mommy slaughtered for me❤️. When the egg laying hens stop laying eggs, we slaughter and eat them. I brine the hen for 24 hours to tenderize the meat and then cook it.

One is my mother’s retirement businesses is keeping egg laying hens and selling the eggs. When the hens stop laying eggs, we slaughter and eat them. She always has standing orders for when she slaughters.

The King and I are on that list because of how I prepare the chicken. I can tell the difference in taste and texture from the hard body chicken.

While the default route for preparing non-commercially produced chickens is to boil away for hours on end, I take pride in preparing and serving them differently.

The King is just happy. The young madam went for seconds. There is nothing left. People have eaten with their hands and their bellies are full. It is a good evening!
