Vegetables oh vegetables!

In an effort to get my body back to when I like it the most, I’m trying to get back to eating clean. Let see how it goes one day at a time! In this bowl: Blanched long stem broccoli. Butter lettuce from my garden. Rainbow cherry tomatoes. Carrots and red onion.

Scones

A classic baked treat that can be served with jam, whipped cream, biltong powder and enjoyed for breakfast, tea time and snacking throughout the day. Scones never get out of style.

Spinach, red onion and Vienna Sausage Quiche

Using Vienna sausages a bit differently. This is also great to get children to eat more vegetables luring them with their favorite meats. Great for dinner, lunch and breakfast.

A South African favorite and comfort food. Deep fried yeast-leavened dough that can be eaten with vegetables, meats, or just as it is.
