Add mulching to your growing crops.
Here, I used grass cuttings from grass that I know is grown organically.
Why Mulching?
✅helps retain water and thus, helps keep the roots moist.
✅ Keeps weeds away
✅ Prevents soil compaction
✅ Insulates the soil
✅As you water, the nutrients from the mulching are slowly released into the soil and roots and this helps your crops grow better.
✅It improves the soil’s fertility.
✅Prevents soil erosion.
I prefer grass cuttings or dry leaves that have fallen from trees.
